Men's Basketball vs. UNC Asheville To Be Televised on WDRL

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford Men's Basketball home game against UNC Asheville on Saturday, Jan. 11 will be televised on WDRL TV. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. The game will be on tape delay and will be aired at 9 p.m. on channels 8 (Radford University CableTelevision), 14 (Charter) and 7 (Adelphia) in the New River Valley.

The Highlanders are off to a 3-10 start overall and are 1-1 in the Big South Conference. They are led by backcourt tandem of senior Raymond "Peanut" Arrington and freshman Whit Holcomb-Faye. Arrington, preseason BSC First Team, leads the Highlanders, averaging 16.1 points per game, ranking him in the conference.

Holcomb-Faye, RU's second leading scorer at 13.7 ppg, recently earned his second BSC Freshman of the Week Honors for his performance over the last two weeks. In five games, he averaged 14.8 points and 4.4 assists per game, including a career high 27 points, nine rebounds and six assists against Saint Francis.
