Driest Named Co-Offensive Player-of-the-Week

Davidson, N.C. – Field Hockey's Megan Driest (Fredericksburg, Va.) was named the NorPac's Co-Offensive Player-of-the-Week announced by the conference office. The junior shared the honors with Stanford's Erica Swesey.

Driest was involved in both game-winning goals against Davidson. She scored the game-winner in overtime to give the Highlanders a 1-0 win. It was her first goal of the season. This past weekend, the forward assisted on Tessa Brookes' game-winner in the 3-0 win. She also tallied an assist in Saturday's 2-1 victory over VCU.

Currently, she leads Radford with four assists and is third with six points. Driest and the Highlanders will travel to Boone, N.C. tonight to face NorPac foe Appalachian State in a crucial conference match at 7:30 p.m.
