Baseball Postponed Due To Weather; Radford-Liberty to play doubleheader on Saturday RADFORD, Va. - The Radford University-Liberty baseball game scheduled for Friday, April 25, at 3 p.m. at Dedmon Center Park on the campus of Radford University, has been postponed due to inclement weather. The teams are now slated to play a doubleheader on Saturday (April 26). The first of that twin bill will begin at 1:00 p.m. The Highlanders (10-20), will be playing game two of their season ending 12-game home stand. Radford and Liberty (11-28) are battling to finish in the top six of the league standings, as the top six seeds advance to the Big South Conference Baseball Championship to be played at Winthrop University May 21-25. Entering this weekend’s series, the Highlanders at 5-9 in conference action, stand fifth, Liberty, 4-8 in league action, is tied for sixth with Coastal Carolina for the final seed, one game in the win column back. The three-game series will conclude on Sunday at 1 p.m. |
