RADFORD, VA. Vito Chairvalloti belted a two-run homerun in the first, and thats all Richmond would need, as the Spiders cruised to a 13-1 non-conference baseball victory Wednesday afternoon at Dedmon Center Park. (Box Score)
Radford would pull within 2-1 in the fifth inning, as Kellen Wohlford would score on a Richmond error. However that was as close as the Highlanders would get as Richmond would score five runs in the top of the sixth and two runs in each of the final three innings to improve to 42-8. The loss was the fifth consecutive for Radford, who fell to 15-27.
