CAMP NOTES
LEW KENT BASEBALL CAMPS, Inc. Summer Clinics will be directed by Radford University head baseball coach Lew Kent with help from assistant coaches Chip Schaffner and Ryan Brittle. Additional staff will include Radford University players and local youth league caoches. Coack Kent is the all-time winningest coach at Radford University and has 18 years experience as a camp coordinator at Arizona State, NC State and Radford.

The summer baseball camps are designed to teach basic fundamentals with a heavy emphasis on Sportsmanship. Campers will be taught the basic fundementals of hitting, fielding and throwing. There will be two game played daily, one before lunch and one at 3:00 pm. The teams will be divided by age and ability. The camp takes place at the well-groomed baseball and softball facilities on campus at the Dedmon Center. Campers can bring their own lunch or it can be provided upon request at an additional $5.00 per day. Every day after lunch, campers will have their choice of watching a baseball related video or swimming at the Dedmon Center Pool. There will be certified lifeguards on hand for supervision.
