POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Head Coach - Men's Basketball
Radford University, a comprehensive liberal arts institution located among the Blue Ridge Mountains in Southwest Virginia, is inviting applications for the Head Coach of its highly competitive NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball program.
Duties: Organize and direct all aspects of the men's NCAA Division I basketball program: successful recruitment of academically eligible student-athletes; team-related administrative duties including budgeting, scheduling, and travel arrangements; develop positive public relations including active involvement in fund-raising and promotional events; and perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required, Master's Degree preferred; proven successful coaching/recruiting experience, preferably at the Division I level, and effective professional/interpersonal communications skills. Salary is negotiable and commensurate upon qualifications and experience.
