If you have enrolled in a RU Graduate course as a “non-degree seeking” graduate student within the previous two years, your application is “current.” You may register on-line using your RU PIN or call the Registrar’s Office at 831-5469 for assistance.
If you do not have a current non-degree graduate application on file, follow the process for application as a non-degree seeking graduate student, as outlined below:

When filling out the Application….
When asked "What type of degree is desired?"
Select - Non-Degree Status
When asked "What is your purpose for seeking admission?”
Select - Other: (specify the course or certificate) Ex: Autism Studies Certificate
REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION
Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum grade point average of 2.75; or Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum grade point average of 3.00.*
SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
Test Scores - None Required *
Recommendations - None Required *
Transcripts - Submit official transcripts from undergraduate & graduate institutions in the original sealed envelopes from the registrar.
* Specific certificates or courses may have additional requirements.
SUBMIT APPLICATION
Complete the on-line or paper application; pay the application fee; and request transcripts to be sent to: RU Graduate Admissions, PO Box 6928, Radford, VA 24142
Specific deadlines may be set for individual programs or courses; however, in all cases, a complete
application--including transcripts verifying degree(s) conferred, must be received by the Graduate College prior to the beginning of the class.
Once your application is complete and approved, you will receive a letter from Graduate Admissions with general registration instructions. Specific courses or programs may also provide specific instructions for registration.
