1. RCPT.01 Change title of concentration: change from Recreation, Parks and Tourism Management Concentration to Recreation Management Concentration Proposal supported by UGCCRC and forwarded to the Vice President of Academic Affairs for final approval.

title and catalog description of PHIL 310. Proposal supported by UGCCRC and forwarded to the Vice President of Academic Affairs for final approval.
1. GEOG.01 (Catalog Course Description)
a. Discussion resulted in the following change: Replace the paragraph on page 3 that says A seminar to introduce the student to the geographic perspective and the geography curriculum, the necessary skills for the geography student and professional, and opportunities for a career in geography. Required upon declaration of a major in geography. Open to social science majors and those minoring in geography with permission of instructor with the paragraph on page 4 that says A seminar to introduce the incoming geography student to the geographic perspective and the geography curriculum, the necessary skills for the geography student and professional, and opportunities for a career in geography. Required upon declaration of a major in geography. Open to those minoring in geography with permission of instructor.
b. After discussion, the proposal was supported by the UGCCRC and forwarded to the Vice President of Academic Affairs for final approval.
2. GEOG.02 - Program Revision: Add GEOG 240 Focus seminar--Options in Geography, GEOG 250 GIS I, and GEOG 305 Population Geography, to the geography core curriculum. Proposal supported by UGCCRC and forwarded to the Vice President of Academic Affairs for final approval.
3. GEOG.03 Course Prerequisite Change: Change Prerequisites for GEOG 240 from GEOG 140 Introduction to Environmental Studies to proposed course prerequisite Declaration of geography major, or declaration of geography minor and permission from instructor. Proposal supported by UGCCRC and forwarded to the Vice President of Academic Affairs for final approval.

1. AFIS.02 Course Title Change: Change the title of ADSY 361 from
ADSY 361, Administrative Communications to MGNT 361, Organizational Communications. Proposal supported by UGCCRC and forwarded to the Vice President of Academic Affairs for final approval.
E. Foods and Nutrition proposals 1 3 were tabled. These proposals are contingent upon an additional proposal that has yet to be approved by the General Education Curriculum Advisory Committee and forwarded to us for consideration.
