ABOUT ACS~SA

 

 

The American Chemical Society - Student Affiliates here at Radford represent an organization that was founded for (but not limited to) chemistry  majors. It is where students may come together to share interests and  ideas, make acquaintances, and support one another in chemistry their research and studies.

As a group, we have meetings at least twice a month, and usually two or three dinner meetings at the local Mexican and Thai restaurants in downtown Radford. Other RU ACS-SA events include holding bake sales, camping trips, bowling nights, and end of semester chemistry department parties.

We are always looking for ways to expand and grow, and we appreciate any ideas, comments, concerns etc. If you are wanting to join the ACS-SA here at RU, please don't hesitate to contact one of the officers or e-mail us.
