AAUP

American Association of University Professors
Academic Freedom for a Free Society

Radford University Chapter

What is AAUP?

AAUP is the national organization that represents university faculty in many different ways. We are particularly concerned with academic freedom, shared governance and adequate faculty salaries.

Most recently, AAUP has been vocal in opposing the mislabeled "academic bill of rights" legislation that has been introduced in many states.

Why join AAUP? To lend your support to the voice or reason in turbulent times for academe.
